In looking for some parts for my other (2) XS projects, I found this gem.

No title, no pipes, "left there by an old tenant".
She's now in my shed. Thinking of trying to get her running. Shoot some oil in the cylinders, turn over, check the ignition...
The wheels look... odd. Aluminum on the back with steel on the front?
Any offers on that custom seat?:D

Lots of good parts there. Front wheel is probably from a later Special, rear is original. And those flanged alloy wheels are getting to be like gold. Price them on eBay, you'll see. Forks may be good after a rebuild and even if they're not, the internals are probably still good (spare damper rods to Minton Mod).

That's a solid foundation for a project! Well worth saving.

"A solid foundation"... well put!
I am thinking of altering my plans, as this one is way more complete than my basket case XS. Which says little about my choice in XS's.
Sigh.
Just need more time and $...
Hey - AZ Man - do you ever get to the Barrio for the alternate Wed night Bike night?

Every chance I get. Ever go to Little Anthony's Car shows? I'm usually at both....I'm the guy that is around the bikes at Bario's.

I really love that there is a pretty diverse crowd there sometimes with some stunning hardware...
So I don't pollute my own thread... check your PM's.

Ever see the April show and swap? Fantastic!
