Hi all, took loads of pix on strip down. Phone now packed up so cannot see pix. Having problems remembering where the rectifier mounts. Any pix please. Thanks Pete

While you have it out, you should do a rectifier test on it to verify none of the diodes are faulty.
you do this with a Digital Meter on Diode test. Its 0V in one direction and about .5-.7V in the other direction. There is a video on youtube to show how that is done. One of my diodes was phyically disconnected I guess from when rotor failed from overvoltage caused by the regulator being out of adjustment
and your talking Rectifier and NOT the regulator correct?
Regulator has the rectangular can and green resistor along the side. I think the 71 is the same from that picture I link
18 is rectifier
22 is regulator
Hi Melnic, it is defo the rectifier, it has the 2 hole plate mounted on it. There is no 10mm nut/bolt hole on the bottom of the battery box. Thanks, Pete
