I was looking at one of the Carbberry Enfeilds a week ago. I met the owner at the local bike shop. Looked very nice, very well made. He loved it. I've seen another one a few times around my area and they look great and sound great. Seem to go well. The gentleman I spoke to said it cost around $23k Australian, but that included a new donor bike as a base for the build. Seems expensive, but over here a new Harley big twin costs more.
hi guys that 1000cc... has been around for a while a guy modified the crankcase set and several other parts tooo make a 1000cc vee twin ... but enfield are going to make a 1000cc enfield in india to try and compete with harley... i,m open minded since the new owner took over a few years ago and stopped prodution and turned the factory into a iso 9000... its made a hell of a difference ..in australia we still have a crappy importer offering poor service and a poor selection of models.. regards oldbiker
