We spent Saturday afternoon trailblazing and exploring my back acreage. Gary and Allison went to work with machetes. Amazing, they're on vacation, yet they're clearing trails. Some parts of the trail were heavily blocked by fallen branches and trees, so had to get the tractor to bulldoze those out. After about 1/8 mile of clearing, finally got to the flint outcroppings.
Allison found a really nice Archaic Indian artifact, a biface, or preform. Sorry, should've taken a picture.
I really enjoyed meeting and spending time with Gary and Allison. An interesting and energetic couple. Be safe, and may your journeys be fruitful...
