Yes...........but. it you have a Special with plastic side covers, the side cover has to b modified.
Thank you, I am thinking about a standard tank on the RedBike which has other side covers alteady.

A knee dent with pads would look good on your bike, on a standard tank. A cool do it yourself from XS400 forum Post # 9 has a small dent.

A knee dent Standard xs750 tank with a xs650 tunnel transfer would get you close to 5 gallons and 40 lbs extra when full, seat would have to be trimmed back 2" to work.
Guy in Aus done that and it goes from 17 liters, standard XS750 tank, to 22 liters.
I have an 850 Standard tank that holds 22 liters. Put a 650 tunnel on it it would hold 27 liters. 5 1/3 imperial gallons. Lol

My aim is the better looking standard tank. The Special tank emulates a "peanut" tank with rise going back to front, the standard tank has a relatively flat bottom which caps the motor nicely IMHO
That would put the XS in Norton Commando Interstate territory
We over here, and European's got a Larger tank on our Standard XS850's.

Personally i like the larger tank on the XS850 the XS750 tank looks to small for the Triple but perfect for the XS650That would put the XS in Norton Commando Interstate territory
