So I have posted on here a few times and was on the rider site but hre is what I am up to now. My uncle had given me a 79 special a couple years back and I used the rider site to get it running but then I started to see what people were doingwith them and had to modify mine. I did a few little things but wasn't satisfied so I conned my wife into buying me another one for my birthday. It was a partially bobbed (rattle canned and some parts removed) 79 special for 400 bucks site unseen. Turns out it only had 7900 miles on it and runs like a top so I decided to cut up the original one and ride this on in the mean time but with some modifications nothing major. Oh and I don't know how many 79 specials there are but I thought it was cool that mine are serial #'ed 294 apart.
Basically I just moved the stock signals changed the bars some rebel shocks and made a bratstyle seat. I am going to remove the gauges and relocate ignition but blew trans cooler line today on my car so it will be a minute ( note the red car in pic)
The other bike will be a dropseat with perm magnet and pamco
