Is there a way to adjust the throttle to reduce/eliminate any slack in the cable? There is just a little bit of slack in my throttle cable that I'd like to get rid of. It isn't anything major...just something that I wouldn't mind taking care of. This is for an '83 Heritage Special...stock setup.

Ah, figured it out. There is an adjuster nut on the cable itself. Totally missed it when I installed it. All set now.

Be sure, after you adjust it, to turn the bars all the way to the left and right. If the motor revs up then you need to loosen it a bit.

I see what you're saying. I'll check that as soon as I can. I have the rear tire off right now for some repairs and don't want to run it as the chain will want to turn and I'm just not ready for that kind of disaster right now. I'll get her buttoned up and check that soon.

Thanks.
