Tough day wiring

I'm running this diagram from tcbros with a 71' points ignition, reg/rec combo, and a 12v2.9ah battery.
I'm going for kick only Kick only.
I've got get all wired up and ready to go but still got nothing.
She fired right up when I jumped it from my car battery to the stock pos and neg so somethings right and also somethings wrong.
Anyone have some wise words here to help a brother out because I'm beyond stumped (and kinda pissed I spent hours on this bastard today)

sounds like you got it right, but that battery is really small. you can get a 7ah battery for a gate opener ay most feed/granges stores. I run one on my kick only chop.

i was thinking it was kinda small too but when i went looking i'm seeing guys on here running a 0.8ah and its treating them fine.
i'm not getting spark on the kick so im hopping i just killed the battery last night and have it on the charge now.
