Hi been running a rephrased motor.stripped it to cure an oil leak .was running wicked .3 of the outer valve springs had snapped.what's the cure.I have 2 other motors I am building.is this a common acurance.

The cam is a 447 .not a preformance 1.you had much to do with rephased motors.as I'm new to them.thanks for the reply

Rephase doesnt matter. What have you been revving it to?

Hi I don't have a rev counter .so not sure.hhb has had the same happen .so wondering if better springs would b better any answers would be great fully received

Since you have broke 3 stock springs I would replace with new. I bought new RD springs from Hoos racing they recommended replacing the old springs.
