had plastic in the filter so pulled the engine and contemplating my options.
have done a TON of reading on this forum.
looking for reliability/streetability. what I mean is I'll spend money on good investments, but I'm not looking to waste money for high RPM numbers or have it only last one season.
I got free time and bank, but after that I wanna ride her all season long with no internal hassles.
looking for more grunt when passing, and something I can forget about for the next 10 years. no racing, just a fun bike to enjoy working on right now and riding in the future.
a bit of name dropping here but....thinking of clutch, big bore, pamco, rephase, top end rebuild,( new valves, 5 angle, slight port and polish, new rockers) stock cams and just doing a rejet with my 34's and some velocity stacks.
2 to 1 exhaust or 2 to 2?
anything you guys would add or subtract. all work besides valve and rephase will be done by me.
