Hi smart electrical folks,

I have quick question I know is probably simple to the smart guys. I'm doing my own basement build which has been extremely fun. But I'm onto the wiring part and will be attempting my first custom wiring harness. I'm running a basic setup but want blinkers. I'm using the stock switches that came on this bike - a 1980 model. I'm running clip-ons and am trying to figure out how to ground the switch gear. I don't see any black wires from my switches so I believe these ground to the bars for the horn and start button right?

If that's the case, how can I get ground to the horn and starter button? Can I solder on my own ground wire to connect to the common ground I plan on running?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yeah, no handlebars. I mistakenly said I was not running clip-ons. I am indeed running clip-ons hence the question. My bad.
