That’s a beautifully , well sorted bike! He’s done all the necessary updates. I’ve always had a soft spot for that self destructive bastard.
You may recall that I had a 1974 DT360 back in the 90's. I really loved that bike and rode it often in my back lot.

I picked up a Yamaha TT500, so I sold the DT360 to a neighbor friend so we could attack the local rural trails.
Years later I regretted selling it, and have been looking for one ever since.
This past summer I saw one on Craigs for $1200, similar condition to this one on Portland Craigs, so I hooked up the trailer and chased it down real quick.
It started right up, and I rode it around, but it stalled repeatedly and wouldn't rev up well.
The seller turned out to be a BS artist; his lies were pretty easy to spot, and his claims to be a top-flight collector/mechanic were laughable.
Two of the cylinder head nuts were wrong, so someone had been into the top end.
Aaarrgghh.....
With Covid lurking in the air, I walked away.
Maybe It'll surface next year.
I do want another DT360.
Hey, It was so long ago that I was riding the '69 Bonney, but I recall it being similar to the XS650. I rode it to Boston from Syracuse and back many times with no issues. I hope to put it on the road again someday. Its been in the living room for about 20 years. I'll give you a road test update when that happens. How did you like your Triumph
I bought one like a few tears ago but it seams so top heavy and clumsy when maneuvering it around parking lots in the garage etc.
I've got a 01 900 Adventurer and of course it's a lot heavier than the 650Hey, It was so long ago that I was riding the '69 Bonney, but I recall it being similar to the XS650. Always glad to accomodate a request for more pics.those who prefer the 68 Bonneville and those for the 69
It looks as a very fine machine ..So if possible more pictures would be nice to see
Interestingly, this Bonney didn't leak, but about 5 years after placing it in the living room, it did begin to weep a drop or two from below the engine; I just let the rug soak it up.The cover against the floor ..Are usually at another place.
I had one of these. It's a 1969 T100R Lincoln Green. A Daytona 500. Mine had those mufflers on it as well.
