RWIW, had a quick look and can find nothing to suggest Avon m/c tyres are going out of business.

From what I gather they make race tires and motorcycle tires. The vintage/heritage race circuit seems to be in an uproar.

Knowing Goodyear/Cooper, they'll probably just move production to Asia where the can get labor for $2 a day. Of course the cost savings will be passed down to the consumer.
