Ever since I bought this bike when starting electronically it made like a chattering noise(not grinding). I recently had my son put a new starter in and its the same noise. Question is the sound normal? By the way it always starts no problem just makes chattering noise.

I lowered the rear 2" and the front 1" I need suggestions on a new kickstand.

I have the stock handlebars on my XS650 Special and they bother my wrists. Looking for suggestions on alternative bars that will have the same distance on cables lines etc. Appears to be about 11" of cable from top of triple tree to controls. Seeking bars that rise and maybe 4" pullback.

I have a stock 1979 XS650 Special and want to know if there are any alternatives the the brake light. Something smaller, maybe go with the cafe seat they sell on Ebay? link to seat on Ebay...
