if you swap to the long rod do you still use the bearing also?

ive been thinking about doing something similar,are you not worried it will slip down under vibration and end up under your wheel?

have you tried yambits? if the parts are not shown on there website give them a ring,theres not much they cant get hold of!

Hi fred,yeh the name came from my wife,your never going to ride about on that "deathtrap "are you? All the electrics run through the frame but are minimal,the ignition and light switch are mounted in a little aluminium box at the rear engine mount,and im running a cap(kicker only) so no battery...

Ive used smoothrite in the past,but im doing a set at the moment in 2 part,just make sure to get the cases warmed through before you paint them!

Ive got a 73 plate bike in the uk,that i believe is an xs2 also! Bit hard to tell on most parts as ive chopped it!but the front brake assembly is the same as ggggarys pic !

Have you had the motor apart?it looks like your cam bearings are off centre pushing the cover out at that side maybe?

How close to standard length are they mate?is the spindle included?and lastly are they set up for a xs650 front wheel,and very lastly :-) how much? Cheers

I would take a guess at a faulty coil,they break down as they warm up if faulty!

Hi folks,its getting late over here in the uk and i cant find my manual anywere,so here goes :laugh: whats the correct procedure for tightening the bolts at the bottom of the oil feed pipe? Is there any copper washers needed in the fitting? Thanks for any help :thumbsup:

Easiest way if you can get the bike started is,once its running with the enricher off,pull it on,if engine note climbs then its working ok,
