Us?wanta give us an idea of the Serial Number?
I've had it about 3 years, it hasn't been restored other than a set of mufflers. The original mufflers were starting to show bulging from interior rust that you see on a lot of Yamaha's.That looks to be a real beauty, it almost looks like a new restoration. Have you had it long?
Inquiring minds is all, it is at least fairly low.
It's probably in the first third of production. Ser. # 002373Looks like an early 70, wanta give us an idea of the Serial Number?
The paint is very good but with the typical fading on the tank you see on early YamahasInquiring minds is all, it is at least fairly low.
paint looks amazing for original!
Did you add the blinkers?Mostly all original XS 1 with only 13,000 miles. other than new mufflers everything else is stock. Excellent running condition. Asking $9000.
I'm posting it here 1st and will advertise it to the public later.View attachment 234007View attachment 234008View attachment 234009View attachment 234010View attachment 234011View attachment 234012View attachment 234013View attachment 234014View attachment 234015
According to the original owner they were on the bike at the dealer when he bought it, I'm the second owner.Did you add the blinkers?
Glad the pictures helped with the routing. What a beauty! And it helps answer a question about my '73 TX. Clutch cable routing is where that of my TX "wants" to go. Tried between the carburetors but is most comfortable on the outside of the left carburetor as in your photos............Wesley
Yes, I would assist with your shipper.Fab looking bike, would you ship to the UK?
Thanks, I think it's a fair price. The only reason I'm selling is I have a 1972 GS650 (with factory 750 barrels), one of 200 made to fulfill the AMA homologation rule so King Kenny could race against the 750 HarleysI've got one just like it, all original, purchased it from its original owner. I think thats a pretty reasonable price, they're getting harder and harder to find...especially in that nice of condition.
GS650 very cool. Thanks, I think it's a fair price. The only reason I'm selling is I have a 1972 GS650 (with factory 750 barrels), one of 200 made to fulfill the AMA homologation rule so King Kenny could race against the 750 Harleys
