If the engine isnt completely shot it may be worth it if you want to do a bit of work. Outside that it doesnt have much going for it. Consider thats the stuff he didnt use for his projects. Looks rusted to heck and would need a lot of work to clean up.

Left fork tube might be bent. Yeah kind of rough but not ALL hacked up, is the engine free and does it have compression?

Im in Graham Tx, the craigslist add didn't come up for me. If you have it still I would be intrested in takeing off your hands.
Kit I think you are a bit unclear here. A titled XS650 for 3 bills won't be on a craigslist for more than a few hours, anywhere.
