I have been offered some 35mm front forks from a 1981 / 82 XS650. Question is, what year did Yamaha introduce the 35mm forks to the XS650? and has anyone got any 35mm Yokes / Trees for sale ????

The 35mm forks started in '77. Anything earlier will have 34mm forks. The length of the steering neck was changed in '74 I think so that means 35mm trees will swap directly to frames down to that year. Earlier frames will need the pivot tubes swapped on the trees.
