Holes drilled everywhere, High Pipe, raised ft fender, dirt tires, seat strap, and skid plate! What a disgrace. You`ll never catch me doing anything like that to any of my bikes!!
Advice - dont buy one if your name is "Hugh"
$7000???
I'd have to be knee-walking, commode-hugging drunk to pay HALF of that for that thing! WTF are they thinking?
View attachment 136633 View attachment 136633 I got slightly used 1968 honda trail 90 that better than that and i give any of you deal on it for only $5500 (firm). It got leading link!!!! It got holes drilled, custom skidplate, lights and excess steel removed, dirt track tires, high pipe, seat straps...racing numberplates...too much extras to list...
The only thing built in the USA is probably the frame. The rest of the labor is assembling sub-assemblies that are cheap imports. $7000 compared to others in or near its market? Come on Fred.

all that AND a unique custom seat pad too, a true bargain!
According to their website, everything is made by Janus and domestic suppliers, with only a few international suppliers. Those are
- Light System
- Calipers and master cylinder
- Engine (China)
- Air Filter
- Carburetor (Kei Hin Technology)
- IKON Suspension (Australia)
They claim to make their own wire too.

Where you been, Fred? Nothing is working OK for Hardly Ableson, and hasn't for awhile. They got by for years, putting a premium price on image with next to nothing spent on product development, and it's caught up with them. The new HD product line has proven to be too little, too late, and their $30,000 electric bike is a joke. Indian-Polaris actually produces bikes with more than a label to justify the price tag, and that's where HD's market share is going. Re. Janus: just how many manhours do you think it takes to assemble one of those little bikes in a professional environment? Wage differential won't account for that big a chunk of a $7000 price tag on what has to amount to less than $3000 of parts.
