I love restored machines when done at a high show level.
A good looking rider, on the other hand, is more than acceptable done well to your own taste.

Thanks. I do feel a bit uncomfortable at times with some of the stuff that's shown. A good original restoration is terrific. But they're only original once and sometimes they're built to a far shinier condition than anything a factory produces. Individual taste, of course.

LOL! I got exactly the response I was hoping for. It's been a very helpful discussion. I'm now minded to keep it very simple. Gold colour pin striping as per previous post. Base colour to be decided but probably black.
