Does anyone have any close up pictures of drag bars or clips ons? Also, any opinions on one vs the other would help. I can't make up my mind between the two styles and would like to see different applications of each. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Couple of pics of my bike through it's "build iterations" with Drag bars, clip-ons and clubmans. With the drag bars do not suit the rear sets, the clubmans (Omars adjustable) can be set up just right, clip ons hit the tank, hope this helps
cheers

Rude, that is exactly what I am looking for. Any comments regarding comfort? Did you have any issues with the clip-ons not having enough room for grips and switchgear?

By the way, where did you get that gage? I love the minimalist look. I am finally starting my build tomorrow and can't wait.

Firstly the gauge is an ACEWELL that I picked up from the local distributer here's a link to their website http://www.acewell.co.uk/Acewell Speedometers/ACE-4xxx/index.htm

I have rear sets and found that the drag bars were not right, sitting up straight with the legs back wasn't comfortable. I then went to the clip ons but with them in a comfortable position the switch gear hit the tank, even with a reduced turn (I drilled and tapped screws into the bump stops on the lower triple clamp) with OMARs adjustable clubmans I get to keep the MIKESXS bling on the top triple clamp and they put me low enough to be comfortable after much fiddling about, the only issue is "wasting" the throttle and clutch cable, at the moment my throttle cable runs under the head light and the clutch cable is re routed around to the right hand side of the frame then under the tank .
Have fun
cheers

The Hanna Montanna sticker was 50 cents, I got that at wal-mart but you could probably get one at Big Lots.

:laugh:Thats what I was thinking. Can the top cross member in dirt bike bars be emoved without screwing them up structurally? That might look cool.
