I messed up big time! I cracked the right side alternator cover. The crack is just above the kick start lever. Has anyone used JB Weld to repair a crack?

If the crack is cosmetic, maybe. If the crack is in the load-bearing area of the kickstart shaft, best find another cover. Post a pic?

So this would be the clutch cover? Alternator is on the left.
