Hi All

Just going though one of the boxes of bits for my new new build (1975) to sort out all the electrical components ready to start wiring and found this, but can't seam to find any pictures of what it is.
Is this off of a XS and if so what is it?
Thanks

Since it's made by Bosch, I'd say no, it's not a 650 part. Might be a voltage regulator from a BMW R bike.

Thanks 5twins I'll file in the bin.
I cant se the markings or the pins But it looks as a Bosch type 3 pin mechanical regulator

Bosch is the premier manufacturer of electrics for vehicles as far as I know and . Have superior knowledge on modern systems
CAN Bus

That one looks old so it can be bad but I would not throw it away
I have used Bosch type regulators on XS 650 for perhaps + 20 years if not more

The same pin configuration are cheap and available here If you have a bike and remove the mechanical .a electronic replacement should plug in

like that but please check pin configuration they fry instantly if connected wrong
