anybody ELSE have fork rod damper's that look like these in their 650? I did a lot of looking around at pics and the exact match came to a 1968-69-70 Yamaha DT1. No WONDER my Clymer pics look so goddam different to me!
Looks like it huh? I know this bike was wrecked...HARD at one point in it's life. My lower legs look right, the tubes MAY be right...? Dunno. No matter, as long as they work. We will SEE!
I just took apart a 1973 TX650 fork leg. It is identical to yours. In your picture, are the parts in the correct order and properly oriented? Mine fell apart and I'm clueless. I just started a thread on it.
