Gas Station Sushi

Yeah, a good title is a nice thing to have when you have a good amount of money invested. Glad you got that handled though.

Cool video! That bike is definitely inspirational. I'm not sure if the guy sold his bike but I see a dude in my neighborhood that rides a clone of that bike. Same color and everything.. He's pulled up next to me at a stop light a few times. :bike:

Thanks jdizon! I love the look of the copper lines running throughout the bike as well!

I still haven't figured out what kind of bars to put on yet! :banghead:

Clip ons
Clubmans
drag bars
flanders clubmans upside down
beach combers

And then you had to go and post those fork covers you just got!

Way too cool! Too many ideas and not enough money to go around!

Here's a little of my inspiration! :D This is an interview with Troy Helmick the builder of "The Willow bike" that got me interested in old school bikes and let me see that it doesn't have to be a Harley to be cool!

You guys are right! Now to figure out how to come up with $599.00!

Finally got a picture of The split tank on a MK6A frame! Not mine!
Holds 2.4 gallons total. Dave @ Voodoo Vintage has an Awesome eye for lines!

Definitely going with this tank!

It looks Freakin Awesome!

Man I hate being short on cash! :banghead:

Yeah George, how could you not. That tank really sets off this bike. Better start saving those pennies. I finally just got the order for the Cole Foster tank. Set me back a bit. Not as much as you though. I wonder how the Cole Foster would look on your setup? Definitely sits low enough. Have any photoshop skills?

Not a whole lot accomplished. I need to get busy!

I did however come up with an idea for my seat

I need to get with Pov76 and see what we can do to get started. He has some really good leather work.

Check out Lester as well. He's got some amazing stuff he's done with leather. Did you buy the seat kit from Voodoo?

Super stoked about this thread..... Some of the best designs and ideas involving the XS ive seen. The seat design is perfect... The frame is beautiful.

jdizon, I've seen Lester's work and it is really good, but Pov76 hit me up awhile back to work with him on the build, so I gotta go with him first. The pan will be from voodoo though, that's where Pov get's his stock.

Thank's eric for the compliments! I've been trolling the forums here for 2 years and flipping through magazines stealing ideas! All the credit goes to the forum!
Just like jdizon above pointing me in the right direction for help, you can't beat it.
The guys in here are great and can help take a build farther than you can ever come up with on your own!

Some inspiration for you. Not an xs but the frame reminds me of the voodoo board trackers

Voodoo should come up with a girder like this.

dizon, you nailed it on that one!

If money was no problem, I would be calling Anthony up at Chasis Design Company and asking him for one for Gas Station Sushi!

It's exactly what I want! I don't know if I could get David to build one or how much it would set me back, but I love it! I just don't have a spare $1850.00 !!!!

damn that chassis is stunning.

I have a buddy who built a really rad girder on a BSA and used mountain bike air shocks.. I will try and snap a few pics. I imagine downloading some plans for one and having a local fabricator make it would be the cheapest!

Sounds really cool Tron! I'd be interested in seeing it and or the plans if you know where to find them! :D

I haven't found any plans online that I like. All of the girders that I have found, do not fit the lines of my frame.
