Tonight I had the pleasure of having a "debate" on Facebook. When mentioning my build, things quickly turned around... Funny how you gain respect when you do more than "ride"
To all the DIY guys on here, and everywhere. Your worth more than ya might think.
Bit of a brief explanation. The picture of the motorcycle you're about to see is of a customized Harley Davidson motorcycle that probably requires a lot more chopping and fabricating than people EVER realize.
I happened to stumble upon the comments and saw a post stating that "Yamaha is Gay"
I'll be honest, this "triggered" me, as a snowflake may call it lol.
I responded with reason, and open mindedness, and in my opinion, a bit of wit. The rest unfolded naturally, and I gained respect I didn't ask for. Yamahas are motorcycles after all!!!
To be completely honest, one person's opinion doesn't bother me as much as I may lead you all to believe, but an opinion DOES generate a reaction sometimes. Tonight, I reacted.
If this is at all inappropriate forum material, by all means, remove it. I just thought it was a bit comical to hear the lack of reasoning behind such an opinion.
