Ok, found a couple threads with some information, but not really what I'm looking for.
What happens if you put the KB springs in with stock retainers and shims? I understand it's not recommended by KB, but what actually happens inside the engine?
do these things wiggle around and fall out of the keeper and wreck stuff?
is the install height wrong? (I gotta measure mine, I believe spec per KB is 1.45")
Is it a situation of 'Not Designed Here' so the engineer says a thing 'cuz he doesn't know/hasn't tried it?
