Kill switch wire size.

Does the size of the wire to the kill switch matter. Since the hot wire runs through it, is a 32 guage wire large enough? Thanks in advance, Bob
 
That's pretty small even if you're running it through a relay...

In stock wiring config., where the kill switch is carrying 12VDC to coils, I suggest 18ga minimum and prefer 16ga (1mm2 metric).

As most agree that the oem XS coils are marginal at best, and the power feed to coils take a rather convoluted path, a relay and a direct feed from battery (of course a 10A fuse should be installed) to relay is a very cheap improvement. Then it is only the matter of ensuring good continuity from coil negative, via breaker points or TCI box, to ground.
