Mikey's new to him 1980 650

Yes, I was going to mention alcohol. Maybe kerosene might work too. It may take a little soak time to penetrate.
I going to take it easy the paint isn't perfect little crackling street survivor

Suppose the kerosene would be paint friendly

Kerosene won't hurt the paint, or anything else on the bike for that matter. You can wipe the whole bike down with it.
That's next then. It's to nice to be indoors
It's 80 in minnesnowta

Well i tried Goo Gone/ alcohol (rubbin not drinkin) / kerosene 3M adhesive remover and nothings touching the decals or the residue from them
The lady at the automotive paint section of Auto Value said the 3M stuff is very good but she uses laquor thinner
I asked isn't that hard on the paint and she said "well your going to buff it out anyway"
I'm thinking laquor thinner will take the clear coat off at the very least
