Neutral indicator light

Button works by providing a ground path to blue white solenoid wire a missing handlebar ground is very popular.
At solenoid; check for +12 at red white then, ground blue white at solenoid, which should spin the starter, track down issue from there.

The solenoid grounds with blue white red white runs to key switch which is on the middle post of my ignition. I do believe that’s where my problem resides but not sure where to go from here

Normally, power for the solenoid on the R/W wire runs through the starter safety relay so that relay can cut the power flow once the engine starts. I consider this a very important safety relay to leave in place. The headlight safety relay (auto-on feature) mounted with it, not so much, lol.
