New project and new to the forum

I picked this 79 up yesterday in a trade deal...I traded a kikker 200cc for this beauty..I am planning on making her a hard tail with a suicide or jockey shifter havent fully decided yet. the bike was running till I had a main wiring harness fire about 2 hrs into riding. The carbs need to be sync, but I am looking forward to getting into the project for the winter. I am sure I will be asking you guys for some help along the way

cool. is it really that black, or is it cuz the shadow side? Just rewire it yourself. lots of diagrams here, and you will know it was done right,er....kinda. I ripped mine apart twice just cuz It kept becoming a ratnest behind the headlight.
