wallywheels, curious if you are still active on here? I came to the forum today with questions about supplying power to lights via my capacitor. I have my PMA running to two of the leads on the capacitor and had thought I would be able to tap into the other two open leads to supply power to my lights. I held the wires of my rear LED to the leads last night and got nothing. Could there be an issue with them being LED (i.e. not enough voltage or current to illuminate)? what types of lights did you use in the past?Ok nwhitehorne here is your diagram NOTE: you can simplify things by not running a fuse block and just running all the feed wires into one with a 20 amp main fuse before the ignition that is how mine is but fuse block is safer I just have no space. Also if you have a front brake just tap into the Blue line for the brake light with the same setup as the rear. Run a power into the front brake switch and run the wire coming out of the switch to the wire shown in the diagram for the rear switch outlet. Also to simplify things even greater you can use the same power wire for your headlight and tail light just splice them together I ran mine together and put a switch in so when I start the bike there is 0 draw from the headlight if you need me to modify this to exactly what you want let me know I just had surgery on my ACL and I am in bed quite a bit. Please feel free to ask questions
Looks like he hasn't been here in more than seven years. I'm sure others can answer your questions though.wallywheels, curious if you are still active on here? Yeah that is what I noticed haha figured it was a long shot, do you know if there is any way to re-share my above reply back out to the main forum to be seen?Looks like he hasn't been here in more than seven years. I'm sure others can answer your questions though.
