Opinion on valve wear

Same valve, but on one side it’s clean and the other side has some imperfections…I did scotch brite it to clean carbon off. Will the imperfections be a problem, or is valve good to go? Thanks

Looks to be some pitting below the guide; it depends on how picky ya want to be. It'll be a little weaker (not imminent failure) than new and collect carbon more readily. If the stem measures in spec, and clearance to guide is good, it's your choice....

Agree with JP. Unless I was buildin' a race motor, I'd have no problem using... it provided it's in spec otherwise
