Damned if I can find it again but a recent post showed a technique for removing the casting flashmarks from a rear hub's external fins.
The protagonist used a metal-cutting blade in a Sawzall.
OK, the photos showed that the Sawzall trick worked but there is a hand tool that will do the job in a safer gentler way and I finally found out what the thing's name is.
It's a Stanley 15-410 Rod saw.
It's a ~1/8" circular cross-section Tungsten Carbide chip covered blade with tag ends to fit it into a hacksaw frame.
