anybody know where i can get new rings for a 72 256 engine? if not need any info i can get about boring the cylinders so i can order from mikes? can i use the 3rd overs with out new sleves? will the walls be to thin??

3rd over isn't too big - thats only .030 of an inch.

Are the rings that different from a 447 engine?
Any ring with the right diameter will work as long as they fit in the ring groove.
My rings are automotive, the oil ring was too thick for the piston groove, so I just machined the pistons to suit.
