Spokes person?

Pretty interesting read. I could go either way wire or cast. This is the first I've had with wire wheels so it may make up my mind yet.

I agree with Mr. Cameron. When I got into stainless spokes I found building wheels was a lot more
complicated than first appears. My first purchase was 1 million stainless spokes and we built a
rim drilling machine plus a machine to roll the threads. It's a slow process .
The Europeans have a lot of special spoke/rim designs including those with tubeless rim types.
A light weight mag wheel is what is really needed but the only magnesium rim I ever seen was on a
70's Laverda triple. I still have the spoke and rim machines if anyone ever wants them ( cheap ! ).
The rolling dies alone are about $800.00 Each.
