Sprocket change now to retard

As the title states after doing much research, in an attempt to lower RPM's at highway speeds I chose the combo 17-30 for my sprocket swap. took it for a spin and seems like it will be much better, I now want to follow thru with XS John's recommendations to retard the timing. What I need to know is which diredtion do I need to rotate my pamco plate to retard the timimg looked and havnt yet found the answer I am looking for.

Just an FYI.......

Sprocket change made a HUGE DIFFERENCE, 70 MPH down the highway at 4k RPM's GRINNING ALL THE WAY !!!!
