This is the first time I have tried to start this bike. It has a Hugh PMA and Pamco running Dyna 3ohm coils. I hooked everything up and nothing, the bike doesn't even try to fire. I pulled the plugs and could smell fuel on them. Checked the coils and after a few minutes of trying to start one of the coils was really hot to the touch and the other wasn't. Checked the resistance on the coils to make sure they were alright and they both measured out at 3.3ohm primary and 10.5k secondary. Should be 3 primary and 11.5k secondary although my meter is a cheapie so I wouldn't rule that out. Im not sure if it matters but I am running 5k and 1k caps as I don't have the right zero caps for the coils since its terminal nut size. Im doing kick only so the only thing that is hooked up is the battery and its measuring at 12.2v. Finally, I know everything ran before as this was Hugh's personal motor that I just bought from him... Any ideas?
