supporting mods needed for 750 kit?

I know this has been covered quite a bit, but I was wondering the supporting mods needed to simply make it run smoothly.

I have an opportunity to pick up the sleeves, pistons, etc for really cheap but not a lot left over for other things such as a cam and carbs,

Bike is a '79, with mild head work being done now, otherwise stock.

Perfect! Thank you. Might do a shell 1 cam now and upgrade the carbs later...
