Just finishing up this piece of kit history, purchased in 68/69 by late father of customer, back on the road in 2017, Sebring kit with a volks in the rear, love the shag
Very nice! Those VW based kitcars were all the rage and while they weren't as easy to build as many people thought, they could be very cool if done well.

That's the truth, a much more difficult endeavor than most realized, the previous owner who was a good shop friend and customer had passed and left this to his daughter. The pics are prior to a good buff/polish, but it was well done by him. I had to fabricate a gas filler neck, cap, and mount, lots of electrical work, massive tune up, springs, etc etc, but a fun project that will hopefully be a great memory of her father and his love of autos.
Nice! I recall reading the kitcar magizines. I was big into VW's then. Built a 1680cc bug with dual Kadron carbs. Never really finished it.
That Sebring is a period piece. Well done.
Thank you, it was a fun build, it made its way down to Florida this week and into the hands of a late customers daughter, she was excited to get it on the road.
