Granted I'm on the other coast and this was 2 years ago but I paid $1,200 for the same bike just missing air filters, a rotted side cover and both brakes filled with rust. I think you can do better.

Yeah. Deals definitely crop up here and there, but I think prices tend to be higher around here just because the riding season is long and it's a big city.
Did you go into the one you looked at in the Classifieds. $2000 or offers and it looks ok in the pics
