I'm on the look out for a set of pickup coils for a TCI ignition, working or not, (I would try repairing, dissecting, rewinding or even copying a dead set).
I plan to build a mock up of the rotor using a spinning disc with magnet driven by an electric motor with speed controller so I can observe the timing advance, which will hopefully help me fix my spare TCI.
I might even be interested in a complete generator with pickup coils at the right price, anything considered.
I'm in the U.K. so shipping from some places might be prohibitive.
