When doing away with reserve lighting, horn, blinkers...etc..

I know it's been discussed ad nauseam but.. In doing away with these items can I simply remove these wires or do other connections depend upon them, specifically the items mentioned. I have seen every wiring diagram available and wether it's to many blows to the head or simple stupidity it doesn't sink in. Thank you in advance.

To remove the RLU, you must connect the blue/black to the blue/yellow.
