Sometimes calling them parts bikes or bike parts, especially if they are in baskets/boxes/bins makes it easier or less noticeable. If it was not across the border to me, it would make a nice companion bike to my newly acquired 74 which needs factory tins and exhaust.

I likely don't have as many as you, but yes I have successfully camoed a 3rd bike into my garage in the past two weeks.

Though I'm remembering and laughing at you married guys about hiding your newly acquired bikes , the flip side is sometimes now, a single guy, Renting... changes his tires in the living room, cleans parts in the kitchen (or shower) , roll away is in the closet ? Yup, "grass is always greener on the other side" they say? Take care of them ladies and like your garage !! now excuse me, I have to do the laundry...

I believe the time allotment for considering a new acquisition as "old" is once it's in the house, price tags are off, its been put away and no hands are touching the item.......
