Will 1977 forks fit 1975 triple tree?

Hey... a gentleman on the forum has a set of 1977 forks and I need to know if they will fit a 1975 triple tree I have already powdercoated copper.
Any ideas?

I don't think so, the 77s are 35mm and the 75 triples are 34mm?

Straight forward swap out at the steering column forward however but; the package need go with it...fender, instrument ignition nacelle , caliper, mounts, disc rotor etc.

Nice upgrade IMO.... stonger forks, pre-load adjustability etc. Blue

i know this is old but real quick so as long as you swap the triple's from the 77 to the 75 your good?

What year di the neck height change? The very early necks are shorter not sure what year they changed. You could shim under the bottom bearing.... if the neck is shorter?

I think it was 74. I have a set from a 72, and a set of 35mm from an 81 in the garage. I will check on it, and get back to you.
