[Triggerton III]

Hi all,

On my XS1B i noticed that i have a lot of lateral movement on the crossover shaft for the gear selector arm. so i have done a little research and found i am missing the chain guide. think this may resolve the issue, however the price is prohibitive, has anyone come up with a better solution? I am thinking of placing a washer behind the circlip. As seen on later versions of the engine.

The code for the wash 90201-14220-00 might decode to give the dimensions, but hopefully someone else will know this. From the diagram the washer(#8) fits between the oil seal(#7) and the circlip(#9).

Thanks Paul, I dont recall seeing either version when stripping the engine. I will have a double check just in case. looking the photos in the first link you posted, I notice there is a washer behind the circlip. I will have a look for that.
