Well the attachment bracket portion of it has a built in nut thus I assume it attaches to something which hangs down, no hard frame threaded hole needed.
Great ! I’ve found it easiest to first set the steering bearings close to tight.
Forks then set aligned and at height (without messing with the ears yet) by pinching the lower 4bolts.
Then again removing the top triple clamp/handlebars to install the headlight ears and rubber mounts. With correct heights set the rubber mounts very lightly greased, will be snug vertically. Not too loose or too tight.
Top triple clamp/bars back to snug after
Steering stem bearing check.
Lft and Rt control wires, gauges, clutch cable routed lastly along with the ears/signals into the bucket.
It took me a couple tries to get it done easily and well.
Good going
Yes. Bars back on, headlight and mounts have some patina, running that way, if I make her to pretty, I'll never ride her.
Already done more than i thought i would, i will finish the day it starts raining!
Sure hear that and feel the same up here. Well, winter months are easily the most productive in the garage

When I take him on a club run and we park up some stupid bugger says "your engine is leaking oil", my reply.........No he is just marking his teritority
