Here is my bike, a 1976 XS 650. Its got a TC BROS weld-on hard-tail, and a couple other parts from Lowbrow Customs, and MonsterCraft. Most of the bike is hand fabricated, but I'm not going to sit up here and say I built every inch of it like other guys do, because I didn't. Things like the Headlight was bought, as well as they rear fender. But even if I did buy a part, we almost always customized it. Like the rear fender was shaved, and bobbed, the gas-tank was frisko'd and the battery box has many hours of customization. My brother and I have been working on it for a couple years now, he is a skilled fabricator and welder with two other bikes under his name. He has a very good eye for detail and is exact with his measurements. He has taught me everything I know and I love the time we spend together in the garage, all greasy and fabricating some new parts. Motorcycles have become a new passion of mine, and they calm me down, they relax me, and I cant see my life without them.
Thanks,
Joel Soukup

Looks like a cool build. I am sure some guys have the skills and tools to go all out and take raw steel and turn it into a functioning piece of art....but I am not one of them! I buy plenty of parts and (attempt to) build up my project. Good luck with the bike, looks like you have a good start!
