Banshee flywheel lightening....good idea or bad?

Just curious if the engine responds well. I know people do it on the banshee's but a two stroke engine is a completely different animal. On a track setting I can see acceleration out of corners being good but what about an everyday street ride?

Hi Brew,
how much can it be lightened? Some few ounces, perhaps?
Which may be significant on it's original motor but compared to an XS650's four massive flywheels?
I doubt it's worth the hassle.

it wouldn't be that difficult and every little bit helps with these turd engines. I know it would rev quicker but I guess I'd be worried about balance and the effect it would have on the crankshaft. Has anybody out there lightened their flywheel?
