I'm kinda laid up but trying to do some small things. Got a teenage son for the heavy stuff. This bike has never had a chain guard on it but I got one and sanded the rust and old paint off and repainted it. Looking at the bolts in the parts fiche I can figure out I think that they are M6 size and the lengths are 25 mm on the front and 20 mm on the back but what is the thread pitch. Can't take the swing arm off to the hardware store!

Most of the metric bolts I've bought, the thread pitch is right if you get the right size bolt. I might just go to the store and check, if a m6 bolt comes in more than one thread pitch, get some of each. Take back the ones that are wrong.

They're just the standard M6 thread pitch, 1.0mm, nothing fancy like a fine thread or anything.

HERE is a handy little chart. Most threads on Jap bikes are standard thread up to M8 or so.
